As an industrial engineer, you'll play an integral role in the strategic planning and execution work required to provide our Navy clients with big‑picture ideas rooted in technical and data‑driven solutions that will help to propel them into the future and ensure military and maritime dominance. Responsibilities

Conduct analyses on supply chains of critical weapon systems to provide recommendations for optimization. Analyze manufacturing processes using a variety of tools and develop and present actionable recommendations for process improvements to optimize throughput. Collaborate directly with suppliers and the U.S. Navy to implement changes and monitor progress while identifying further risks to production schedules and quality. Support further cross‑functional teams performing similar work and mentor junior employees. Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders worldwide to improve communication and workflow. Qualifications

5+ years of experience supporting manufacturing and production at a mid‑ or large‑scale defense contractor. Knowledge of processes related to weapon system production. Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement principles. Knowledge of supply chain risk management concepts, including concepts related to manufacturing and quality management. Ability to participate in or lead various integrated product teams (IPTs). Ability to travel to supplier sites up to 30% of the time, with higher tempo near the start of employment. Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering. Nice If You Have

5+ years of experience serving in or supporting the U.S. Navy, including conducting product support manager functions or production support in a USN program office. Experience using Python or R. Experience with program management of major ACAT programs. Knowledge of ISO 9001 or AS09100 standards. PMP, DAWIA PM, or LCL Level II or III Certification. Master's degree. Clearance

Projected compensation range: $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). This posting will close within 90 days from the posting date.
