Assists with bedside collection of fine needle aspiration biopsy specimens (FNA) and prepares glass slides from cytologic specimens for subsequent microscopic evaluation using a variety of techniques (direct smear, thinlayer, cytospin, cell block). Additionally, this role performs general troubleshooting of instrumentation, communicating technical information to appropriate persons.**Additional Job Description**Education:
Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, or biological sciences including 24 semester hours of science courses that include 6 semester hours of chemistry, 6 semester hours of biology, and 12 semester hours of any combination of chemical or biological sciences.
