We serve as a trusted technology partner to medical and advanced industrial original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) worldwide, engineering components and sub-systems that deliver extreme precision and performance for a range of mission-critical applications—from minimally invasive surgery to robotics to 3D metal printing.We are looking for a **Senior** **Director, Human Resources Business Partner,** to lead the development and execution of strategic, business-aligned HR initiatives. This role will report to the CHRO and partner closely with the CFO, CIO, Chief Legal Officer and other key executives within Finance, IT, Legal, and HR. In addition, the Director will be a key part of the Novanta HR Leadership team during an exciting time as we transform our HR model to deliver exceptional employee experience and scale the business from $1b to $2b and beyond.* Cultivate strong, trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders to influence talent strategies, drive organizational effectiveness, and support a high-performance culture.* Develop workforce plans to enable both current and future business goals.* Diagnose gaps between current and desired organization performance and deploy actions to resolve gaps, including talent management, succession planning, coaching and development.* Deploy creative tactics to strengthen leadership team effectiveness* Support employee development with a focus on high potentials.* Use people analytics to identify business needs and provide data driven insights to leadership.* Function as a change agent by planning, executing, and managing organizational changes and transformations.* Create impact with employee engagement initiatives.* Manage and solve employee relations issues.* Be a lighthouse for Novanta’s values and innovative spiritThe salary for this role will range from USD $176,000 to $281,600 annually based on full-time employment. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to location, relevant skills, training, education, etc. Certain roles may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation and/or long-term incentives.
