Job Summary At OTH Hotels Resorts, we believe that genuine hospitality doesn’t follow a script—it’s built on trust, integrity, and care. As our Centralized Accounting Manager , you are more than a numbers expert—you are a financial storyteller, a guardian of accuracy, and a partner to operations who ensures that every decision is backed by sound fiscal management. Your role will a ssist in the day-to-day operations of the accounting department. You will analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within the company.
Key Responsibilities
Reconcile, process and record tax payments to state and local authorities
Prepare daily bank reconciliation.
Responsible for daily revenue recognition audits.
Process accounts payable invoices and process weekly check runs
Assist in monthly AR and collections.
Reconcile the balance sheet monthly including proper supporting documentation and research as needed.
Assist in preparation of accurate and timely monthly financial statements and supporting financial information including monthly journal entries.
Ensure USALI and GAAP are being adhered to appropriately.
Prepare and distribute the monthly medical billing to Property Controllers.
Responsible for processing bi-weekly payroll.
Any other directives (written or verbal) as assigned by management
Who You Are
High school diploma or equivalent experience/training
Associate’s degree in accounting or business preferred
Experience in the hospitality field strongly preferred
Experience with financial transactions and lender relations
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent computer skills (including accounting software and Microsoft Office products)
Excellent Microsoft Excel skills (including experience with pivot tables, v-lookup and extensive formulas)
Excellent organizational, time management, analytical and follow through skills
Ability to handle multiple ongoing projects in fast-paced team environment
Ability to work independently on projects and collaborate as a strong team member
Excellent attention to detail, flexibility and adaptable to change
Ability to operate under pressure and meet or exceed deadlines
Positive, outgoing and self-motivating individual with pleasant personality
Ability to maintain a professional manner and appearance in all situations
