The Position
The Office Recruiter will operate as an individual contributor, responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and placing personnel domestically and internationally. Responsibilities include creating and executing talent acquisition strategies, understanding workforce planning, sourcing candidates, working with hiring managers, and preparing reports. The role requires a high-performing, skilled individual with a track record of sourcing quality candidates and managing end-to-end recruitment processes.
Responsibilities
- Sourcing and attracting candidates using databases and sourcing tools
- Developing and updating job descriptions and specifications
- Conducting job and task analysis
- Screening resumes and applications
- Conducting interviews and assessing candidate fit
- Onboarding new employees
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in human resources, business, or related field
- 2+ years recruiting experience, preferably in construction and engineering
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data and Excel
- Strategic and proactive mindset
- Experience with HR systems such as ATS and HRIS
Abilities
- Ability to work with extended screen time and sitting
- Dexterity for using a keyboard
- Good listening, speaking, reading, and problem-solving skills
