Your Opportunity For Impact

NetDocuments is seeking an Accounting Manager. This role will handle the overall management and supervision of the accounting department including reviewing financial statements, preparing reports for upper management, assisting with financial statement audits, and overseeing the work of accountants. This role will report to accounting & finance. The ideal candidate will have a CPA or Master’s degree in accounting, public or internal audit experience, supervisory experience, and will have worked with NetSuite.

What Your Contributions Will Be

  • Assist and oversee accounting for capitalized software, including evaluating projects for capitalization, tracking development costs, and ensuring proper amortization and compliance with GAAP
  • Assist and oversee the procure to pay accounting function
  • Assist with month-end close by overseeing account reconciliations, journal entries, and performing variance analysis
  • Assist with US GAAP Financial Statement Audit as well as international reporting including assisting with statutory audits as necessary
  • Assist with the resolution of accounting issues. Provide technical accounting support on transactions and accounting issues as necessary
  • Analyze accounting records, including financial statements and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to standards defined within the department
  • Lead projects to help achieve the accounting department's goals, including GAAP accounting research, policy memos, efficiency improvements, and documentation of procedures
  • Work with management on appropriate fiscal strategies for the organization
  • Work closely with FP&A department on budget and GL structuring of accounts to ensure proper reporting
  • Develop and maintain systems for the maintenance of financial records, using current technologies
  • Help develop staff and senior accountants and AP clerks through training, coaching, managing workloads, and fostering a positive work environment
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Education And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • Public accounting and/or internal audit experience highly recommended
  • Minimum 4-6 years’ experience within accounting, preferably within the software sales industry
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls and willingness to research and resolve accounting and tax issues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ethical Conduct
  • Attention to detail combined with the ability to communicate the “big picture”

Ideally What You Will Have

  • CPA and/or Master’s degree in accounting
  • Supervisory experience
  • NetSuite experience

Compensation Transparency

The annual compensation range for this position is: $110,000 - $120,000 plus bonus
