Surveillance Security Officer - Lobby Screener Join GardaWorld Security Services as a Surveillance Security Officer – Lobby Screener. This role focuses on monitoring surveillance feeds, identifying threats, and assisting in maintaining a safe environment in environments such as security operations centers, call centers, and gatehouses.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity and record observed events with detailed reports
  • Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
  • Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
  • Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
  • Analyze security systems to identify vulnerabilities or malfunctions
  • Collaborate with law enforcement in serious situations or emergencies
  • Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

  • Shifts include Mornings 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM, Evenings 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM, Nights 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM (weekdays and weekends)

Qualifications

  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to pass an extensive screening process
  • Strong report writing skills
  • Good eyesight and strong focus
  • Proficiency with technology
  • Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is a plus
  • State license if required
  • CPR certification (GardaWorld can assist with obtaining this during hiring)
  • At least 18 years of age (21 for driving positions, as required by law or contract)
