IT Systems Administrator (Atlanta) Job at Raftrxroofing in Atlanta

Overview We are seeking a highly motivated IT Systems & Security Administrator to join our fast-paced private equity-backed startup environment. This role is ideal for a self-starter with strong technical skills across networking, cloud security, and endpoint protection, combined with excellent communication and customer service abilities. You will report directly to the VP of Information Technology and play a critical role in maintaining secure, efficient, and responsive IT operations. Responsibilities Manage and maintain Ubiquiti firewall and network infrastructure Administer and secure Azure AD and Azure Cloud Security environments Monitor and respond to security alerts (including after-hours and holidays) Support and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 and internal IT tickets Deploy and manage Huntress endpoint protection Implement and maintain DLP policies within Azure Provide help desk support and resolve user issues with professionalism and urgency Collaborate with leadership to improve IT processes and security posture Travel up to 25% as needed for site support or project implementation Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Information Technology or related field 510 years of proven experience in IT systems administration and security Strong knowledge of: Ubiquiti networking, Azure AD & Azure Security, Microsoft 365 administration, Endpoint protection tools (e.g., Huntress), DLP and cloud compliance policies Excellent verbal and written communication skills Self-starter with eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic startup environment Must be local to the Duluth, GA area Willingness to travel up to 25% Preferred Qualifications Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, CompTIA, CISSP, Azure Security) are a plus Experience working in PE-backed or startup environments is a plus About RAFTR Roofing + Exteriors Formed in 2023, RAFTR Roofing + Exteriors is a multi-regional, residential and commercial roofing and exterior solutions platform focused primarily on insurance claim demand.
