Delivery Driver

Reports to: Warehouse Manager

Classification: Hourly

Date: 9/25

Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of poultry equipment and supplies to our customers

• Safely operate company delivery vehicles to transport poultry equipment, parts, and supplies to customer locations.
• Load and unload trucks, ensuring all items are properly secured and handled to prevent damage.
• Verify orders against delivery manifests before departure and upon arrival.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly, answering basic questions, and resolving minor delivery issues.
• Follow all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
• Inspect and perform basic maintenance checks on delivery vehicles (fuel, fluids, tires, cleanliness).
• Report any delivery delays, vehicle issues, or customer concerns to the supervisor promptly.
• Assist in the warehouse as needed, including order picking, packing, and inventory handling.
• Unload equipment at job sites operating Telehandler, Skid Loader, etc.

Additional Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license (Medical Card Required).
• Must be able to lift 75lbs
• Able to work as part of a team; excellent team player skills required.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision.
