Overview
Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is seeking a motivated and experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team in Springfield, MO. This is a Monday–Friday, 8–5, on-site, hands-on role based at our Springfield, MO center of operation headquarters. The role provides technology support and customer service to a multi-company/multi-state enterprise, using state-of-the-art IT management and connectivity toolsets to support back-office and remote staff across Windows 11 Pro laptops, iOS and Android devices, and environments including SD-WAN, Cisco network, Office 365, cloud-VOIP, MDM, and asset management. The position has a unique focus on our new employee Enterprise Hires and Terms process.

- Shift: Full-Time; Monday through Friday, on-site; rare travel
Responsibilities
- Provide end-user hardware and software support, install computer systems and software, and maintain networks and connectivity.
- Procure, inventory, set up, and configure new hire and termed employee equipment and software.
- Manage 2,000-line Verizon/AT&T account and procure/replace phone and tablet equipment as needed.
- Ensure system security, perform ManageEngine and Apple Business Manager activities to manage device profiles/apps.
- Manage mobile device management solutions for iOS/Android and administer phone registrations; install, upgrade, configure, test, and support OS software in production environments.
- Support enterprise policies and advise on best practices; administer MDM for mobile devices.
- Participate in technical research and development to enable ongoing innovation within the Enterprise.
- Evaluate hardware/software requests and recommend solutions compatible with the client’s technology architecture and constraints.
- Provide end-user support for Microsoft 365; install, configure, monitor hardware, VOIP phones, Azure, Windows-based software, systems, networks and printers.
- Respond to service issues and requests via help desk; support multiple departments across locations.
- Test new technology and develop IT procedures to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction; assist in SD-WAN, Cisco networking, Azure AD, cloud VOIP, SharePoint, Teams, and acquisition conversions.
- Follow emergency plans for equipment, security, or power failures when necessary.
Qualifications and Requirements

- Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities; ability to prioritize and meet goals; acute attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of internet security, PHI & HIPAA, and data privacy principles.
- Ability to work under deadlines; physical ability to lean, stoop, lift, and carry loads; able to work under desks.
- 1–5 years of IT experience preferred; familiarity with Office 365 administration, inventory tracking, and device management tools (e.g., ManageEngine, Apple Business Manager) or ability to learn quickly.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 administration, setup, and operations; knowledge of VOIP, 3CX, cell phone and tablet setup/maintenance.
- Experience with Active Directory, Exchange accounts, networking infrastructure (switches, firewalls, VLANs, wireless, SD-WAN), SAN/NAS, and virtualization.
- Certification and/or degree in information technology, computer science, or related field is preferred.
