ROLE YOU WILL PLAY: As a

Propulsion Engineer , you’ll help design, develop, and test advanced turbojet propulsion systems that power the aircraft of tomorrow. You’ll be hands-on in the lab and on the floor, leading sub-projects from concept through validation—driving technical excellence while collaborating across design, manufacturing, and quality teams. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop propulsion components and systems to meet performance and regulatory targets Lead propulsion sub-projects from concept to validation, managing cost, scope, and schedule Generate detailed engineering drawings, technical documentation, and analysis reports Plan and execute propulsion system tests; analyze and present results to stakeholders Participate in design reviews under a structured phase-gate process Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration

BACKGROUND PROFILE: Education:

B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (M.S. a plus) Experience:

1–3 years in gas turbine or related aerospace work (Co-op/internship acceptable) Proficient in 3D CAD modeling (Creo preferred) Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and turbomachinery fundamentals Knowledge of ASME GD&T and technical drawing standards Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing processes (brazing, welding, forging, machining, additive manufacturing) Additional Requirements: U.S. Citizenship (due to defense program involvement) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work hands-on in a manufacturing environment ~10% international travel (Europe) required in the first year
