Overview Hardware Engineer for a temporary assignment supporting our innovative hardware projects. This role is designed for contingent workers and independent contractors, and is not a full-time employment opportunity. The Hardware Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test hardware components for Meta’s next-generation products.
Responsibilities Design, develop, and validate hardware components and systems.
Collaborate with engineering, product, and manufacturing teams to ensure project milestones are met.
Conduct troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis of hardware issues.
Prepare technical documentation and reports as required.
Support prototype development and testing activities.
Ensure compliance with Meta’s quality and safety standards.
Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience in hardware design and development.
Proficiency with CAD tools and hardware simulation software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Must have skills Basic knowledge of display optical characterization & trouble shooting.
Basic knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.
Previous experience with developing customized test stations.
