American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT (CT) and SCRQSA (CT) certification for a Level III Trauma acute care hospital, with weekend shifts and occasional weekday on-call.Job Details•Work in a Level III Trauma, acute care hospital with 286 staffed beds,•CT department serving patient populations from newborn through geriatrics,•Performs inpatient, outpatient (Friday only), ER, and scheduled interventional cases (Friday only),•Utilizes PACS system and Epic charting (Epic preferred),•Shift is Friday through Sunday, 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM,•On-call rotation among staff Monday through Thursday with coverage typically every 4-5 weeks,•No floating to other service lines or sister facilities,•Radiation badge must be supplied by agency,Job Requirements•Minimum of 1 year CT technologist experience required,•Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program,•Current ARRT (CT) and SCRQSA (CT) certifications required,•BLS certification from the American Heart Association required,•Must be able to start IVs, administer contrast, perform biopsies, and utilize PACS systems,•Experience working with a broad patient population from newborns to geriatrics,•South Carolina state license in hand at start; pending licenses not accepted (license required if applicable),•Radiation badge required and must be provided by the traveler,•First-time travelers are accepted,Additional Information•Responsibilities include performing high-quality CT exams in accordance with established protocols for physician interpretation,•Work involves direct patient care in various settings including trauma and ER,•Collaboration with a team led by the CT supervisor and radiology manager,•Teal top and black bottom scrubs required,•All staff may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November),•All requested time off must be submitted with application and is subject to approval based on facility needs,•Previous employees must have a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler,•Applicants within a 60-mile radius considered at a local rate
