Summary
We are seeking someone who is looking for an opportunity to impact the lives of those living at Heritage Village of Waterville through recreation, arts and crafts, conversation, and interaction. In this role, you will provide opportunities to our residents focused on current and past hobbies, opportunities to explore new experiences and enjoy focused activities on expression and movement through creativity!

This position has a starting pay rate of $13 an hour
The typical schedule for this opportunity is Part-Time including five (5) 4-hour shifts a week. The standard schedule for this position includes every other weekend and holiday rotation as well as the potential working some later shifts depending on scheduled activities and events within the community. Specific schedules available will be discussed during interview.

Responsibilities
  • Complete daily activities as listed on our community calendar
  • Interact with residents to encourage engagement in ongoing activities in the community
  • Assist the Activities Director in preparing and leading activities in the community
  • Assist with documentation of participation in offered activities
Requirements
Requirements
  • Prior experience in an activity related or customer service focused position
  • Strong skills in communication
  • Experience with leading a group of people
  • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
  • A Degree or education in Recreation, Recreational Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Teaching, or Arts is a plus!
