Position Description:
We seek an Embedded Linux Firmware and Application Developer to develop and optimize firmware for quantum processors. You will collaborate with hardware engineers and physicists to design embedded Linux solutions, troubleshoot, and enhance firmware performance, and develop applications leveraging quantum computing.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop, debug, and maintain embedded Linux firmware for ARM hardware Support custom ASICs with system and low-level firmware Modify firmware to support changing requirements Support hardware/software debugging Create test scripts for application verification Maintain software procedures and environment Use bug tracking tools like JIRA
Required Skills and Experience: Proficiency in Shell Scripting 5+ years in embedded software development (Petalinux environment) 5+ years programming in C/C++ Experience with Xilinx Vitis and Petalinux preferred Understanding of embedded Linux hardware requirements Knowledge of Linux driver architecture (SPI, I2C, DMA) Experience with JIRA preferred Basic knowledge of GitHub Excellent communication skills Supportive team player Bachelor's in Electrical or Computer Engineering; Master's preferred Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
