Position Overview This position reports to the Quality and Operational Excellence Manager.
In this role, you will work within the Electrification Solutions Group to manage engineering and support services for the integration of electrical equipment into E-Houses.
The work model for the role is onsite #LI-onsite
This role contributes to the Electrification Distribution Solutions division in Houston, TX or Mebane, NC.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a technical lead, approve design deliverables, and work with customers to shape and deliver solutions, seeking feedback for continuous improvement.
Maintain close contact with customers and project teams to identify and resolve issues, and explore additional business opportunities.
Ensure timely contract completion, customer satisfaction, and desired financial outcomes.
Plan, monitor, coordinate, and execute complex engineering tasks aligned with technical and quality targets.
Develop and manage project plans, design reviews, and approvals among stakeholders.
Create status reports and adjust plans to meet contract parameters.
Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure compliance with commitments.
Supervise and participate in Factory Acceptance Tests with customers and ABB units.
Identify and resolve issues that may hinder project progress or payment.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in electrical power systems and project engineering.
Knowledge of medium and low voltage switchgear, protections, control, and automation, especially in Power Distribution Centers.
Familiarity with IEEE/ANSI, NEMA, NETA, API, and PIP standards, as well as NEC, NESC codes.
Will offer sponsorship.
