SENIOR DESIGNERS - 3 Positions

K&Y Apparel Group is seeking Senior Designers (3 different positions) to lead the creative direction and execution ofLadies Sleepwear, Intimates, Swimwear and Activewearacross our private label and licensed businesses. The ideal candidate has strong technical design skills, trend sensibility, and the ability to translate brand DNA into commercially successful collections. Key Responsibilities Design seasonal collections for sleepwear, intimates & activewear (private label + licensed) Conduct market and trend research to inform fabric, silhouette, color, and print direction Create detailed tech packs, CADs, and presentation boards Collaborate with sales, production, and technical teams throughout development Oversee fittings and ensure final product aligns with brand standards and retailer needs Present seasonal concepts to internal stakeholders and retail partners Mentor junior designers and manage design timelines Qualifications 7+ years of experience designing in relevant categories (sleepwear, intimates, swimwear, activewear) Strong knowledge of garment construction, fit, fabric, trims, and print development Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Excel; PLM experience a plus Able to balance creative innovation with retail/commercial objectives Strong communication, organization, and cross-functional collaboration skills About Us K&Y Apparel Group is a NYC-based designer, manufacturer, and wholesaler of women’s, men’s, and children’s apparel.
