Negotiable - Full Time with Benefits Start Date:
Flexible, Immediate Opening Your work will involve providing Operation & Maintenance (O&M) support to Windows (2016 or later) servers used at NSWC Dahlgren Division for corporate solutions and RDT&E organizational needs. This environment includes support for Windows Active Directory. O&M support includes patch management and information assurance/security for the RDT&E network. Responsibilities:
Provide engineering support for initiatives including VMware, IBM Endpoint Manager, Splunk, and NetApp enterprise storage system. Configure and maintain domain backup solutions using Symantec NetBackup. Administer and maintain endpoint solutions on supported RDT&E networks. Develop, maintain, and deploy automated Windows 2016/2019 Servers. Assist with Windows server migration. Support Department transition initiatives to Corporate Services. Develop SOPs for new hardware/software deployments. Maintain system security as per the A&A package. Collaborate with Help Desk and Department Points of Contact to resolve issues. Qualifications:
Active DOD Top Secret Security Clearance CompTIA Security+CE or equivalent IAT Level II Certification 4+ years supporting Windows OS Strong understanding of supported Windows OS and Active Directory administration including GPO management Knowledge of SAN fundamentals, VM and LUN provisioning, snapshots, zoning Experience with Splunk, IBM Endpoint Manager, WSUS (highly desirable) Scripting skills (PowerShell, PowerCLI, or others) a plus Knowledge of DoD networking/security standards (STIGs, SCAP) Familiarity with HBSS and ACAS is a plus Additional Details:
