Job Summary Highly experienced engineering position, guiding the design, building, and maintenance of software used in medical devices and related engineering projects. Applies standard engineering practices to resolve complex problems. May mentor experienced engineers. Salary Range:

$140,000 - $155,000 per year Eligible for a bonus plan with a target of 10% of base salary. Final pay depends on experience, education, skills, and abilities. Comprehensive benefits support healthy living and personal needs. Responsibilities Guide the development of new methodologies and identify process improvements in software development. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems across disciplines; advise senior management on actions. Design, analyze, and document complex software applications within medical product design controls. Develop software according to requirements and program goals, applying standard techniques for problem-solving and analysis. Exercise independent judgment to resolve issues and support team development. Understand theories and practices across disciplines to identify risks, requirements, and system architecture. Collaborate with leadership to improve engineering processes. Work with internal and external teams on design, prototyping, and software activities. Lead and resolve software defects; perform code reviews to ensure quality. Assist with project scheduling and tracking. Mentor junior staff and supervise engineers on projects. Author and review software specifications and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; advanced degrees preferred. 8+ years in software engineering, troubleshooting, and problem-solving. Experience with software development lifecycle and medical device regulations a plus. Expertise in Object-Oriented design, C#, .NET Framework/Core, SQL Server. Proficiency in front-end technologies such as ASP.Net MVC, JavaScript frameworks, HTML, CSS. Experience with modern front-end architecture, micro frontends, and modular systems. Knowledge of HTTP, SOAP, REST, and real-time communication architectures. Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), microservices, Kubernetes, virtualization, and automated testing. Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively and methodically.
