The Staff Frontend Software Engineer is responsible for the hands-on design, development, testing, and delivery of frontend software systems, including React-based user interfaces, component libraries, client-side rendering solutions, and responsive web applications. Description

Purpose
The Staff Frontend Software Engineer is responsible for the hands-on design, development, testing, and delivery of frontend software systems, including React-based user interfaces, component libraries, client-side rendering solutions, and responsive web applications.
The Staff Frontend Software Engineer role is a highly advanced software engineering position that consistently takes on responsibilities beyond individual contributions, driving the success of the broader frontend team and cross-functional initiatives.
Position Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex frontend features. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers. Drive best practices in software development, testing, and deployment. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define and deliver product features. Lead research and development of innovative, experimental features Identify and address performance bottlenecks and scalability challenges. Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality and adherence to standards. Contribute to the development of technical documentation and guidelines. Drive improvements to the development process and tooling. Contribute to upgrading and maintaining core web technologies (React, NextJS, Node.JS)
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience. 7+ years of professional experience in frontend software development. Expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks such as React. Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, Typescript and related web technologies. Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Zustand, Redux) and frontend testing frameworks (e.g., Jest). Proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Experience with Agile development methodologies. Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS)
