Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage complex defense cases involving commercial transportation and property liability. Handle all stages of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, mediation, trial preparation, and courtroom representation when necessary. Advise clients and carriers with strategic insights to resolve disputes effectively and efficiently. Collaborate with junior attorneys and staff, providing guidance and oversight on case strategies. Maintain accurate billing records, aiming for at least 160 billed hours per month. Engage in virtual team collaboration and use digital platforms to manage caseloads remotely. Required Credentials & Background
Active law licenses in Oklahoma and Texas are mandatory. Minimum of eight (8) years of post-bar litigation experience, especially in insurance defense work. Experience with trucking/transportation incidents and premises liability. Proven ability to independently manage a litigation docket with minimal oversight. Remote legal work experience or managing dispersed teams is preferred. Desired Skills & Core Competencies
