About the Role We are seeking a

Senior Backend Engineer

Key Responsibilities : Collaborate with team members to design and implement scalable application architecture and database solutions. Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, leveraging your expertise in

Node.js , and

RDBMS systems

like PostgreSQL. Build and enhance

event-driven architectures

to support seamless system interactions. Implement and maintain

automated deployment

and

CI/CD pipelines

for consistent, reliable delivery. Design and improve

cloud operations capabilities , including deployment automation, monitoring, alerting, and logging. Monitor and optimize system performance using tools like

Prometheus ,

Grafana , and

Sentry . Work with identity providers (e.g.,

Okta ) to support secure user authentication and authorization. Evaluate and propose emerging technologies, methodologies, and best practices to continuously improve our platform. Preferred Qualifications : Proficient in

Go

and

Node.js , with strong experience in developing RESTful APIs and working with relational databases (PostgreSQL). Hands-on experience in

cloud environments

(AWS preferred) and container orchestration with

Kubernetes . Familiarity with

Terraform ,

Helm , and

ArgoCD

(bonus points for direct experience). Deep understanding of

solution architecture

and system design. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain observability stacks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry). Experience with

identity providers

and security practices. Strong background in event-driven system design and messaging patterns. Bonus: Prior experience leading projects or mentoring team members.
