Overview: In this role, you will be a technical leader on the advisory team and responsible for delivering independent engineering, owner's engineering, and technical due diligence services for renewable energy projects, with a primary focus on solar and hybrid applications. The position demands a comprehensive understanding of the U.S. solar sector, as well as knowledge of technical domains such as solar technology, energy modeling, design, operations, permitting, and financial modeling. Projects range in technology and scale, from individual sites and small portfolios to multi-GW collections and may include solar, energy storage, and wind. Key Responsibilities: Expert level engineering due diligence on technical aspects of solar advisory projects Write and review due diligence and IE reports for solar, and other technolgies as needed Explain technical topics to non-technical audiences and clients Staff training Build / enhance internal tools & databases Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders Represent company at industry relevant events Serve as technical expert on business development, negotiations, proposals, market services Up to 20% travel Key Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in engineering 10+ years of experience in technical aspect of solar / renewable project design and development Seniority level
