Job Title: Sales Director (West Coast & Southeast Region – North America) Location: One position based on the West Coast (U.S.), and one in any major city across the Southeast Region (U.S.) Employment Type: Full-Time About the Company: Our client is a leading global freight forwarder, recognized for delivering comprehensive, multimodal logistics solutions across air, ocean, and ground transportation. Position Summary: Our client is seeking two high-performing
Sales Directors
to join their expanding North American team—one to be based on the
West Coast
and the other in the
Southeast Region . These roles are critical to the company’s strategic growth plan and will focus on
hunting and acquiring new enterprise-level customers , specifically targeting
Fortune 500 companies . The successful candidates will be dynamic, results-driven sales leaders with deep experience in
selling multimodal freight forwarding solutions . They must be self-motivated hunters who can identify and penetrate high-value targets, build strategic relationships at the executive level, and close complex deals that align with the company’s service offerings. Key Responsibilities: Drive new business acquisition with a focus on Fortune 500 customers. Proactively identify and pursue opportunities for multimodal freight forwarding services, including air, ocean, and ground solutions. Build and manage a robust pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities. Develop customized proposals and solutions tailored to customer logistics needs. Collaborate with internal teams including operations, pricing, and customer service to ensure seamless onboarding and service execution. Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform sales strategy. Meet and exceed assigned revenue targets and performance metrics. Key Requirements: Minimum 5+ years of sales experience in the
freight forwarding
or
logistics
industry. Proven track record of
new business development
and successful enterprise-level sales, preferably within Fortune 500 accounts. In-depth understanding of
multimodal logistics solutions . Strong hunter mentality with a strategic, consultative sales approach. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently and remotely, while coordinating effectively with cross-functional global teams. Willingness to travel as needed within the assigned region. Preferred Qualifications: Existing network within the freight forwarding or supply chain sectors. Experience working within a global matrix organization. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field. Compensation: A competitive compensation package including base salary, uncapped commission, and performance-based incentives will be offered, commensurate with experience. Seniority level
