A reputable law firm is seeking experienced Insurance Defense Attorneys to join its litigation team in White Plains, NY. This opportunity is ideal for attorneys with experience in construction-related claims and general liability defense, including matters involving NYS Labor Law 200, 240, and 241. White Plains, NY Duties
Represent clients in insurance defense litigation, with a focus on construction accident claims, labor disputes, and related contractual matters Handle cases involving NYS Labor Law 200, 240, and 241, premises liability, and general liability Manage cases from inception to resolution, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, court appearances, and trial preparation Communicate regularly and effectively with clients and insurance carriers Make court appearances in Westchester, Nassau, Suffolk, and all NYC boroughs Draft legal reports, provide case evaluations, and engage in settlement negotiations Requirements
1–5 years of experience in litigation and/or insurance defense Strong knowledge of New York Labor Law and construction litigation Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and meet court and client deadlines Commitment to high-quality legal service and teamwork Education
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Certifications
Admission to the New York State Bar (required) Skills
