Hardware Engineer – IC Designer

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Hardware Engineer – IC Designer to join our product development team. The role involves end-to-end ownership of hardware design activities, from concept to validation, with a strong focus on product quality, manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and regulatory compliance.The ideal candidate should be proficient in electronic circuit design, testing methodologies, and regulatory certification processes, and demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain electronic hardware designs for new and existing products. Conduct root-cause analysis and resolve design issues related to system performance, signal integrity, power, or EMC/EMI compliance. Design for testability and manufacturability to ensure smooth transition from development to production. Generate comprehensive test plans and perform validation and compliance testing at board and system levels. Create and maintain design documentation including schematics, layout, BOMs, and test reports. Lead prototype builds and manage engineering change requests throughout the design cycle. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including firmware, mechanical, quality, and manufacturing. Expertise in the following areas: Microprocessor/Microcontroller-based system design (preferably ARM architecture). Memory subsystem design and high-speed digital interfaces. Logic design for FPGA/CPLD/PAL devices. Board-level design including schematic capture and PCB layout using industry-standard tools. Design and testing of Ethernet and USB interfaces (including certification). Digital power supply circuits and voltage regulation. EMI/EMC design practices and countermeasure implementation. Signal integrity measurements using high-end instruments (oscilloscopes, VNAs, etc.). Environmental and reliability testing based on global standards.
