Labor amp Employment Attorney

A law firm seeks an experienced and highly skilled Labor & Employment Attorney to join its growing practice. This position offers the flexibility of remote work while requiring occasional travel for client meetings and court appearances. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in employment litigation, particularly in trial experience and motion practice. Duties: Represent clients in employment-related disputes, focusing on litigation and trials. Handle motions, depositions, and summary judgment proceedings. Manage case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date. Collaborate with colleagues on complex, multi-disciplinary matters. Travel to court and client meetings as required (remote position with flexibility). Requirements: Minimum of 8 years of experience in labor and employment litigation. Extensive experience with trial work, summary judgment motions, depositions, and mediation. Familiarity with public agency employers and transactional work in the labor and employment space is a plus. Admission to practice law in California is required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications: Active membership in the State Bar of California. Skills: Strong knowledge of labor and employment law, with a focus on litigation. Proficiency in legal research and writing.
