Position Overview
Coverage Schedule:
Clinic: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Night Call: 1 night per week, 5:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Non-Invasive Diagnostic Study Reading: Approximately 2 days per week
Reads 20 echocardiograms, 4 nuclear studies, and sees 8 clinic patients on reading days
Remaining 3 days: Strict clinic coverage
Patient Type: Assigned and Unassigned
Response Time: 20 minutes for call
EMR System: Cerner
Patients per Day: 11-18 clinic patients, plus diagnostic studies
Admissions Required: Yes
Facility: Hospital Stroke Certified, Trauma Level I
Clinical Expectations
Provide outpatient and inpatient cardiology care
Interpret echocardiography, TEE, and nuclear cardiology studies
Respond to phone consults ( 3/day)
Manage inpatient and clinic patient flow efficiently
Participate in night call coverage as assigned
Requirements
Board Certification: Cardiology - Required
Fellowship: Required
Active Montana License: Required
Certifications: BLS - Required
