Senior Staff Autonomy and AI SW Integration Engineer
in Poway, CA. The Autonomy and Artificial Intelligence Solutions Software group develops and deploys end-to-end autonomous systems for unmanned aerial systems (UAS). DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Integration and end-to-end testing, including system deployments, autonomy/AI flight support, integrating AI solutions, third-party payloads, understanding software stack, developing/validating requirements, creating software bridges, and managing the software system lifecycle. Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, integrate, and verify systems. Support creation of test plans, test cases, and execute software feature tests. Plan and coordinate deployment of enterprise applications and embedded software features, ensuring cross-platform compliance. Maintain and update software solutions, including debugging and troubleshooting. Provide in-person software support during lab tests and flight events. Assist in developing test automation with the test team. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Perform other duties as assigned. Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in computer science, information systems, or related fields, with 4+ years (PhD), 7+ years (Masters), or 9+ years (Bachelors) of experience, or equivalent experience. Customer-focused with innovative problem-solving skills. Quick learner with ability to apply new concepts in evolving environments. Understanding of systems from application to deployment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with RHEL and Windows OS. Experience with Docker and containers. Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, C/C++, and Python. Preferred: experience with distributed systems, OMS architecture, object-oriented design, CI/CD pipelines, virtualization, Kubernetes, databases, networking, and version control tools. Ability to work independently and in teams, extended hours as needed, and obtain/maintain a DoD security clearance. Job Details
