Extend and customize ESRI features using tools such as ArcGIS API for JavaScript, ArcPy, and ArcGIS Pro SDK. Create scalable services and tools to support geospatial analysis, data visualization, and spatial data management. Build automated data pipelines to ingest and export geospatial data across enterprise platforms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and secure data exchange between GIS and other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, asset management, IoT). Ensure high data integrity and performance in GIS workflows through schema validation, versioning, and topology rules. Document integration architecture, feature designs, workflows, and technical decisions. Troubleshoot and resolve integration and data flow issues across GIS and connected platforms.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geography, Geospatial Sciences, Computer Science, or related field. 5+ years of experience working with GIS technologies, including extensive ESRI platform integration. Proven expertise with ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, ArcPy, and ArcGIS APIs (REST, JavaScript). Strong understanding of geospatial data structures, coordinate systems, and data transformation processes. Experience building and maintaining bi-directional data flows between GIS and other systems (e.g., databases, APIs, cloud services). Proficiency in scripting (Python, JavaScript) and working with geospatial formats (Shapefile, GeoJSON, GDB, KML). Familiarity with data ETL tools, SQL databases, and geospatial extensions (e.g., PostGIS, Spatial SQL). Ability to translate complex business needs into technical GIS solutions.

Preferred Skills

Experience with cloud-based GIS integrations (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). Knowledge of geospatial standards and interoperability (OGC, WMS/WFS, etc.). Background in asset management, urban planning, environmental monitoring, or similar GIS-intensive domains. Familiarity with Agile software development and DevOps practices.
