VTG is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Data Engineer to serve as an integrator between business needs and technical solutions. Must be able to work creatively and efficiently to solve difficult technical problems. What will you do?
As a Data Engineer, you will transform financial data into actionable insights for a mission-driven customer. Your main responsibilities include developing, optimizing, and maintaining robust ETL processes and data pipelines. You will leverage your expertise in Python and SQL to condition and normalize raw and structured data, enhancing its usability within enterprise tools. You will also implement cutting-edge technology, including AI models, to improve data fidelity and accelerate engineering tasks. Familiarity with Apache Airflow and Apache Hop will be advantageous for building workflows.
You should be able to work independently and collaboratively with technical teams, data managers, and stakeholders. Experience with AWS is crucial for deploying scalable cloud solutions. Knowledge of Kubernetes, financial data, and language translation models is a plus. This role involves supporting data conditioning efforts and adopting modern data engineering practices. Your contributions will impact data processing efficiency and effectiveness, enabling advanced analysis and decision-making.
