Senior Information Assurance Specialist
to join our team in
Crane, Indiana . This position is onsite.
As a core member, you will assist in the research & design, engineering, integration, testing, training, logistics, laboratory research, field engineering, and acquisition and operations analysis in support of various Navy and Marine Corps programs and projects. The focus will be on defensive cyber technologies, mission assurance, and resilience capabilities for the tactical network environment. Your efforts will contribute to significantly increasing the warfighter’s effectiveness. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Identifying security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities of networks, systems, applications, and new technology initiatives.
Developing, testing, and operating firewalls, intrusion detection systems, enterprise anti-virus systems, and software deployment tools.
Testing and debugging programs and scripts; preparing instructions for use during network exploitation activities.
Applying knowledge of current IA policy, tactics, techniques, and doctrine, and understanding their relationship to IA reporting requirements and structure.
Assisting in the planning and implementation of requirements.
Required Qualifications:
BA/BS degree, or High School Diploma with 6 years of relevant experience, or Associate's Degree with 4 years of relevant experience.
12+ years of relevant experience in the field or a related area.
Holds one of the following certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, or GCIH.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree or Ph.D. is preferred.
Clearance Requirements: Must have a current and active TS/SCI Clearance.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch, and kneel.
Ability to push, pull, and reach.
Ability to work in high noise areas.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and small parts.
Ability to work with computers, CRTs, and type on a keyboard.
