We are seeking a

Manager, Carrier Engagement - LTL

to build and nurture relationships with our LTL network of carriers. This role requires a data-driven problem solver who is adept at analyzing data, identifying data trends, continuously questioning the status quo, researching innovative solutions, and driving projects to completion. You will be a leader, LTL network expert, technical project manager, and an efficient operator, driving improvement and excellence with our network partners

Key Responsibilities

Relationship Management & Performance Optimization

Build and maintain trust-based, strategic relationships with carriers to drive mutual success. Lead regular performance reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to ensure alignment on expectations, goals, and improvement initiatives. Set clear performance benchmarks and timelines, guiding carriers through issue resolution and continuous improvement plans. Partner with internal teams (e.g., Customer Success, Product, Engineering, and Support) to resolve carrier-related challenges and ensure accountability.

Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement

Conduct deep-dive analyses using Excel and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) to uncover performance trends, root causes, and areas for operational improvement. Monitor real-time performance and proactively resolve exceptions or disruptions to ensure service continuity. Translate data insights into clear, actionable strategies, driving initiatives that enhance carrier performance and reliability.

API Technical Troubleshooting

Understand and interpret API activity and logs to support troubleshooting efforts related to carrier integrations. Collaborate with technical teams to resolve data exchange issues using tools like Postman and log analysis platforms. Provide feedback to improve integration efficiency and recommend product enhancements based on recurring technical challenges.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

Serve as the primary point of contact between carriers and internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment and consistent communication. Collaborate with carriers and internal teams to drive product adoption, support feature rollouts, and maximize value through deep product knowledge and strategic enablement. Represent carrier needs in internal discussions, balancing operational priorities with customer satisfaction. Deliver compelling presentations and updates to both internal leaders and external partners on performance, roadmaps, and strategic initiatives.

Execution & Ownership

Operate as a self-starter, managing multiple projects and deliverables in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. Maintain strong organizational discipline to meet deadlines and drive tasks to completion. Act with urgency and accountability, balancing long-term strategic planning with near-term execution.

Experience

Requirements & Preferred Skills

4+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Account Management, Project Management, Performance Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation Operations, Carrier Relations, Procurement, or Sales.

Technical Proficiency

Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and HTTP protocols. Proven ability to analyze API logs and troubleshoot integration issues using tools like Postman. Familiarity with common authentication methods (e.g., OAuth, API keys). Advanced Excel skills; experience with reporting/BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms.

Data & Reporting

Highly data-driven with the ability to create and interpret reports at both tactical and executive levels. Strong analytical skills with a focus on identifying trends, issues, and opportunities.

Collaboration & Communication

Excellent presentation skills, with experience presenting to carriers, customers, and internal leadership. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills; able to work effectively with diverse internal teams.

Problem Solving & Execution

Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to managing risks and opportunities. Strategic thinker who is comfortable with hands-on execution to deliver results.

Organizational Skills

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Customer Focus & Agility

Deep commitment to customer and carrier satisfaction with a focus on operational excellence. Quick learner with the ability to rapidly grasp industry-specific knowledge and new technologies

In-office Commitment:

Employees are expected to contribute to our collaborative culture by working in the office

three

days weekly (Tuesday - Thursday).
