Key Responsibilities: Design & Documentation: Align technical design with functional architecture, draft detailed designs, API contracts, and sequence diagrams. Development: Build high-quality solutions using best practices, TDD, and BDD methodologies. Code Management: Review, merge, and manage code in the central repository following coding standards. Testing & Quality Assurance: Conduct non-functional testing, support UAT, and ensure performance, security, and reliability. Collaboration: Work closely with functional and technical teams to ensure smooth delivery and integration. Production Support: Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while supporting continuous improvements. Process Improvement: Document lessons learned, suggest automation, and promote knowledge sharing with stakeholders. The Successful Applicant
A successful candidate should have: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related disciplines. At least 10 years in software development, with strong hands-on experience in full-stack Java technologies and solution design. Skilled in ReactJS, AngularJS, TypeScript, and UI libraries like Material-UI, with the ability to translate UI/UX designs into responsive interfaces. Proficient in Java/J2EE, Spring, RESTful APIs, multithreading, and messaging systems such as JMS, Kafka, and WebSphere MQ. Strong command of SQL and experience with both NoSQL (MongoDB) and relational databases (Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL). Familiar with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, SonarQube), source control (Git/SVN), scripting (Unix/Linux), and cloud platforms like AWS. Knowledge of TDD (JUnit, DBUnit), application servers (Jboss, WildFly), and tools like JIRA, Confluence, Maven. Experience in capital markets or banking IT, ideally supporting trading, market risk, and financial products like FX, IRD, Bonds.
