Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled

Sr. Software Engineer

with expertise in

WPF development

to join our team. This role is centered around the development and support of our

internal invoice processing application,

and other enterprise tools. The successful candidate will work alongside a team of mid- to senior-level developers, collaborating closely with Business Analysts and end users to gather requirements, propose solutions, and deliver high-quality software. This is a hands-on development role involving both new application development and the enhancement and maintenance of existing in-house applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain robust client-side applications using

.NET Framework 4.x ,

.NET Core ,

C# ,

WPF/XAML ,

MVVM , and

ASP.NET MVC

Develop and maintain REST APIs using

C# (.NET)

and/or

Python (FastAPI)

Integrate multiple systems including

Microsoft Teams ,

REST APIs ,

mapping tools ,

WPF apps , and

document/file libraries

Use

ODBC

libraries to connect to various data sources such as

Oracle ,

SingleStore ,

IBM i DB2 , and

SQL Server

Create and manage CI/CD pipelines in a

Docker

environment using

GitHub Actions

and other version control tools ( Git CLI ,

GitHub )

Prepare and maintain technical documentation and provide support for ongoing applications

Participate in troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning of applications

Collaborate across teams and mentor junior developers

Stay current with evolving technologies and provide recommendations for tools and strategies

Use

Postman

for API testing and

Swagger

for API documentation

Experience with

Elastic Search

is a plus

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

5-10 years of professional experience in software development

At least 5 years of experience with

.NET Framework

and

C# , including full software development lifecycle

Strong experience with

WPF ,

XAML , and

MVVM

architecture

Solid understanding of

User Interface (UI) design principles

Experience developing and consuming

REST APIs

Working knowledge of

Python , particularly with FastAPI, is a plus

Familiarity with

ReactJS ,

Redux , and modern

JavaScript

(ES6/ES7) is a plus

Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills

Excellent communication and documentation skills

Must be a

self-starter , able to work independently in a

dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Oil & Gas industry

experience

Experience with

iPay

or similar invoice processing systems

Familiarity with

Elastic Search

Prior experience in integrating diverse data sources and applications
