Benskin & Hott Talent Partners is searching on behalf of our clientan innovative and growing managed service provider (MSP) based in downtown Chicagofor a Technical Support Specialist to join their collaborative and dynamic team. About the Role As a Technical Support Specialist, youll provide hands-on, high-quality support to a diverse end-user base. You'll be responsible for addressing software, hardware, VoIP, and custom application issuesoften working directly with the client and providing end-user support via phone, email, or occasional in-person assistance. If youre a critical thinker with strong communication skills and a proactive attitude, this is an excellent opportunity to expand your technical expertise in a supportive and fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Deliver technical support with professionalism, clarity, and empathy. Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving hardware, software, printers, video conferencing, and mobile devices. Deploy and upgrade desktops, laptops, and peripheral equipment. Document procedures, FAQs, and solutions in internal systems. Collaborate with clients, team members, and the leadership team on-site. Work across platforms like Autotask and Kaseya Patch Management (or similar). Travel locally between client sites as needed. Participate in a rotational on-call schedule (including some nights/weekends). What We're Looking For 1+ year of relevant technical support experience. Proficiency with Windows 7/8/10/11, Microsoft 365, Mac OS, and Office Suites. Experience with mobile platforms (iOS and Android). Familiarity with ticketing systems (Autotask is a major plus). Ability to communicate complex technical issues in user-friendly terms. Strong customer service and problem-solving skills. Must be dependable, self-directed, and professional in both attitude and appearance. Why This Opportunity?
