Your Team
Youll be joining Evertunes software engineering team small, focused, and deeply collaborative. Were currently a distributed group of 5-10 engineers working across Seattle and New York, with a few contractors supporting specialized projects. While we span time zones, we operate with tight alignment and shared urgency. Our engineers ship fast, sweat the details, and genuinely enjoy building together. As one of the earliest hires on the team, you'll be helping to shape not just how we code but how we grow, communicate, and scale.
Your Role
As an Associate Software Engineer at Evertune, youll help build and scale the product experiences that power our AI Discovery platform. Youll work across both back-end and front-end systems, collaborating closely with more senior engineers, product managers, data engineers, and designers to bring features to life from concept to launch, as well as serving as the first line of defense for live site issues. You'll contribute to core platform development, gain exposure to real-time AI integrations, and play a key role in delivering fast, reliable tools to our customers.
This is a great role for someone early in their engineering career who wants to grow quickly in a high-ownership environment. Youll ship meaningful features, learn from experienced teammates, and gain exposure to everything from system design to cloud infrastructure. Responsibilities
Design, build, and ship features across our Vue.js front-end and Python-based backend. Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teammates to define and deliver product improvements. Write clean, maintainable code with a focus on readability, reliability, and performance. Help integrate and test data from third-party APIs, including LLM providers like OpenAI and Anthropic. Debug and troubleshoot issues across the stackfrom UI bugs to API performance. Participate in code reviews, standups, and sprint planning to support a high-velocity release cycle. Contribute to team documentation, best practices, and internal tooling as we scale.
Requirements
13 years of professional experience in software engineering, ideally in a full stack or backend-focused role Expertise building products with modern backend languages such as Python, Go, or equivalent. Experience building and maintaining features with JavaScript (ideally Vue or similar frameworks like React or Angular). Comfort working with REST APIs, and integrating with third-party services Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud, AWS) and modern DevOps workflows (e.g., GitHub, CI/CD). Excellent communication skills and a strong desire to collaborate and learn from teammates. Passion for building usable, performant software and solving real-world problems with code.
Nice To Have
Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases Familiarity with component-based front-end architecture and design systems (e.g., Vuetify, Tailwind, etc.) Prior exposure to working in a startup, fast-paced team, or agile environment Interest in the AI/LLM ecosystem, digital marketing, or analytics platforms

Individual pay decisions are based on several factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, geography, and balancing internal equity relative to other Evertune AI employees. It is our expectation that the majority of candidates who are offered roles at Evertune AI will land well within our salary ranges based on these factors.
