Our client in Northern RI is seeking an energetic and reliable Direct Hire Office Administrator as it continues to grow and transition to a multi generational corporation, which includes a portfolio of numerous companies. The Office Administrator will report to the Controller and be responsible for, but not limited to: Bookkeeping accuracy and completeness (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll); ensuring accuracy of Timecards and Time Off tracking; assisting the Controller as needed in preparation, analysis, and distribution of the company's financial statements and financial data, reports, and presentations for all meetings; participating in meetings; working closely with Department Heads, Leadership of companies, and other Staff within the corporate portfolio; filing, data entry, answering phones, placing outbound phone calls, and general Customer Service; and partnership and relationship building with external partners and firms such as Payroll, Legal, Accounting, Human Resources, etc.
To be considered, you must have:
5+ years of professional experience, having held similar Office Administrator positions Demonstrated experience working with successful small to mid sized privately held businesses with a history of aggressive growth A willingness and desire to partner with entrepreneurial ownership possessing an assertive mindset for financial opportunities Bookkeeping experience Experience managing positive relationships with internal and external partners Solid organizational skills and an ability to prioritize and execute properly and in a timely manner Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills Willingness / ability to be onsite daily Pluses include: Any experience with Dealership software (ie: Procede, CDK, etc); experience working in a Dealership model; and / or experience with PayChex
