The purpose of this job is to accurately and safely assemble electro-mechanical assemblies, automated manufacturing equipment, and robotic work cells.
Requirements:
Responsibilities:
Perform cutouts to electrical enclosures using power and hand tools, per electrical/mechanical drawings
Install interior and exterior components to industrial control panels per electrical/mechanical drawings
Wire industrial control panels in accordance with electrical schematic
Route and label wires and cables within enclosures, for professional appearance
Assemble and plumb pneumatic systems
Interpret electrical schematics and component datasheets
Assist with electrical troubleshooting and debug of industrial control panels
Assist with installation at client facilities and other CKC locations
Other tasks as directed, may include assisting with other shop roles such as shipping/receiving, quality control, facility upkeep, etc.
All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years experience in building industrial control panels or other electrical experience
Strong mechanical aptitude
Good organizational skills, including keeping a tidy workspace
Basic computer skills
Capable of working independently on several tasks simultaneously
Must have good interpersonal skills needed to interact with personnel from a wide range of disciplines and management levels
Positive attitude and good work ethic
Willingness and ability to travel to client sites to support installations
Able to lift 50lbs
