An employer is looking for a Medical Assistant for a Mental Health client in NorCal. This client is a leading provider of integrated outpatient behavioral health services across California. Their mission is to deliver compassionate, coordinated care that supports individuals on their journey to emotional and psychological wellness. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support their outpatient clinics in Union City. This role is essential to the smooth operation of both front and back-office functions, ensuring patients receive timely, organized, and respectful care.

Day to Day: - Patient Scheduling: Coordinate appointments, follow-ups, and provider availability across multiple disciplines. - Front Office Duties: Greet patients, manage check-ins/check-outs, verify insurance, and maintain accurate records. - Back Office Duties: Take vitals, prepare exam rooms, assist with procedures, and support clinical documentation. - Work closely with psychiatrists, therapists, pharmacists, and nurses to ensure seamless care delivery.

Schedule: 8:30AM-5PM M-F Pay: $23-25/HR

Required Skills & Experience - Active Medical Assisting Certificate or Diploma - Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in an outpatient or hospital settings. - Strong organizational and communication skills. - Experience with EMR systems and patient scheduling platforms.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience - Phlebotomy experience - BLS certification

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
