What You'll Do:
Relate Search has partnered with a leading global manufacturing organization in their search for a Security Engineer to architect, implement, and optimize enterprise-wide threat detection and response capabilities within Microsoft Azure Sentinel. This is a deeply technical and hands-on role responsible for managing the full security data pipeline, developing advanced analytics, and enhancing overall security posture. You will play a critical role in protecting company systems and data while driving innovation across global security operations.
Responsibilities: • Lead the design, deployment, and continuous improvement of the organization's Azure Sentinel environment. • Develop and manage data connectors for ingesting logs from on-premise and multi-cloud (Azure, AWS) sources. • Create and tune analytics rules and automated playbooks to detect, investigate, and respond to security threats. • Design interactive dashboards to monitor security operations and report on incident response metrics. • Establish and lead a proactive threat hunting program leveraging advanced KQL queries and threat intelligence.
Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience. • 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security engineering roles, with a focus on SIEM solutions. • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Sentinel, KQL, and SOAR playbook development. • Preferred certifications: Microsoft SC-200, AZ-500, CISSP, or GCIH. • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills in global, cross-functional environments.
