Primary Job Title:Software Engineer - Mid-Level Location:Framingham, MA (Remote) Shift/Work Schedule:8 am EST (start time) Date Posted: 7/21/25 Employment Type: Right to Hire Salary Rate: $74.45/hr Job Description: The North American Solution Delivery Selling & Store Operations Team is responsible for managing Front and Back of Stores solutions within Client IT. The organization delivers capabilities to stores that enrich the customer and associate experience while providing tangible business value. We are seeking a motivated, expert Software Engineer to help lead the lifecycle of these capabilities through planning, design, and delivery within the Back of Stores modernization strategy. You will be responsible for developing Workforce Management (operations, productivity, product flow, etc.) technology solutions for cross-functional teams across North America and Europe. Working within the Global Back of Stores Agile Release Train, youll contribute to the Workforce Management scrum team, helping design, configure, and develop features and services aligned with key business priorities. This includes supporting systems such as Kronos Workforce Central and UKG Pro WFMdeveloping integrations, monitoring system health, and enabling continuous improvement through an agile mindset in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment. Responsibilities: Write efficient code, assist engineers with troubleshooting and debugging.

Contribute to the modernization of back-of-store systems through development and testing.

Collaborate with Solution Engineers, Product Managers, and Store Engineering teams to estimate, design, code, and support software components.

Participate in the back-of-store roadmap and evaluate/demo new technologies and solutions.

Ensure platforms meet corporate compliance, performance, and reliability standards (HA, DR, etc.).

Solve complex technical challenges with strong problem-solving skills.

Build collaborative relationships within and across IT teams.

Establish standards and tools to improve team effectiveness.

Drive process and operational efficiency through automation and innovation.

Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: 510 years of experience as a Software Engineer or Application Developer.

Hands-on experience with UKG Pro WFM (required).

Experience building integrations using UKG Boomi (required).

Experience with Kronos Workforce Integrations Manager (WIM) and UKG Pro (required).

3+ years of experience developing and testing applications using UKG Workforce.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with UKG Workforce Central, Time & Attendance, Schedule Optimization, ATK, etc.

3+ years of SaaS/Cloud technology experience.

2+ years working with middleware technologies: Boomi, Apigee, MOVEit Automation.

2+ years developing applications using Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, CosmosDB.

2+ years working with Agile/DevOps tools: Git/GitLab, SonarQube, JIRA, Confluence.

3+ years of experience in Object-Oriented Design (OOD).

Familiarity with Oracle HRIS or Workday integrations with UKG Time & Attendance.

Understanding of retail business processes.

Boomi or other certifications (a plus).

Retail industry experience (a plus).

Soft Skills: Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Team-oriented mindset; ability to contribute to a cohesive environment.

Willingness to adapt to flexible hours (e.g., deployments).

Notes: Potential for contract extension.

Fully remote.

Contract-to-perm opportunity.

Team currently in the design phase of a UKG WFC to UKG Pro WFM migration (completion targeted for March 2027).

Integration migration from WFC to WFM is a high priority.

Deep understanding of the UKG Pro platform and Dell Boomi integrations is required.

Global IT team with cross-region collaboration (US, Canada, Europe, Australia).
