Description
POSITION SUMMARY
Commercial Loan Administration is responsible for accurately and efficiently completing post-closing functions to ensure necessary filings and reconcilements. Responsible for tickler management and other administrative functions related to loan operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Loan Administration
Manage bank's electronic doc retention and tickler system (ASPI) for all commercial, agriculture and consumer loans. Build new loans and track required docs for all commercial, agriculture and consumer loans. Enter (catalog) all annual reviews and loan approvals into ASPI. Catalog and track all required loan documents for all commercial, agriculture and consumer loans. Catalog all denied loans into ASPI. Track all paid invoices and fees related to commercial/ag/consumer loans in ASPI. Send out uncollected fees/costs to Commercial Loan Specialists. Track all non-escrowed real estate taxes for all commercial and ag loans. Monitor exception reports and forward to Commercial Loan Specialists. Follow-up on pending/expired documentation. Prepare reports for Loan Officers and Commercial Loan Specialists as needed. Missing/expired insurance, final title opinions/polices, REM/CREM. Balance and reconcile General Ledger accounts and/or other accounts as assigned. Assist with maintaining original signed notes, collateral documents, and other necessary paper documents. Prepare and manage ticklers within the bank's core system as well as the bank's internal computer filing system. Verify previous day's work in our electronic doc retention system. Submit corrections to E-Oscar (credit bureaus). Track and continue all Iowa and South Dakota UCC filings at the state level. Mail out all payment notices, late payment notices, rate changes for all branches. Track and terminate vehicle titles in ASPI. Post-Close Servicing
Complete post-close functions including but not limited to; UCC filings, title documentation, and managing critical documents and verify they are properly filed and cataloged. Follows-up and maintain accurate documentation for all loan files, including proper insurance coverage, titles, UCC filings/continuations, title opinions, flood reports, and any other required documents. Responsible for items such as final title searches, abstracting and paper document storage. Review new loans/modifications added to the bank's electronic doc retention system for accuracy. Other
Completes a variety of commercial projects assigned by loan officers and supervisor. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBLITIES

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalency required Minimum of three (3) years of experience in similar job duties
