Unified Communications (UC) Administrator
to support the Defense Intelligence Agency, on-site in
multiple locations
. The
UC Administrator
will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing secure voice and video communications infrastructure, supporting mission-critical operations, and leading technical refresh efforts across multiple classified environments. Clearance Level: Active TS with SCI eligibility Available Locations: Washington, DC Norfolk, VA Charlottesville, VA Tampa, FL Miami, FL Memphis, TN Honolulu, HI Responsibilities for the UC Administrator include: Perform system upgrades and IAVA patches onCisco Unified Call Manager (CUCM) ConductIOS upgradesand maintain UC infrastructure Lead UC implementation, installation, and technical refresh projects Troubleshoot system failures, accessibility issues, and degraded performance Monitor system performance and track usage metrics Draft and maintainStandard Operating Procedures (SOPs)for UC operations Manage UC-related tickets, including categorization, resolution, and escalation Perform root cause analysis and coordinate with engineering for design issues Support knowledge management by updating articles and documenting solutions Maintain asset inventory and accountability May configure and manage UC monitoring systems Qualifications for the UC Administrator include: AT Level II certification(e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security) Experience requirements (one of the following):
High School/GED + 9 years Associate’s degree + 7 years Bachelor’s degree + 5 years Master’s degree + 3 years
Demonstrated experience withCisco UC technologies, including CUCM and SBC Ability to work independently and lead site-level UC projects S
trong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills Must be eligible to work in the United States and obtain and maintain an
Active U.S Government Top Secret with SCI eligibility
with willingness and ability to obtain a CI Poly. Compensation for the UC Administrator include: Salary Range: $140,000 - $190,000 *depending on experience and location* Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTO, Sick Leave if required by law, and Holidays This job is open for applications on 7/23/25.
