Senior Logistics Analyst
to join our team in
Washington, D.C . Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. Enhances product workflow by analyzing and developing logistics plans that affect production, distribution, and inventory. Creates and reviews procedures for distribution and inventory management to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost. Ensures rational distribution and delivery according to analysis report and tracking records. Communicates goals in project terms. May provide a leadership role for work groups through knowledge in the area of specialization. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field. 18 years of relevant experience may satisfy degree requirement. 10+ years of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with the US Navy, including on active duty, government civilian, or support contractor. Experience working with technical authority (e.g., NAVSEA 05). Experience working with US Navy Program Managers in an analyst role. Clearance Requirements: Must hold an active Secret clearance. Physical Requirements: The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
