Overview

FWI is building a team to provide highly skilled information technology engineering subject-matter expert support services to support, implement, operate, maintain, and enhance the technologies within the IRS Enterprise Operations (EOPS) Network Engineering business unit. As a Senior Computer Network Support Architect, you will design and implement network architecture solutions for enterprise network infrastructure across public, private, and hybrid environments. This full-time on-site position will work Monday through Friday,8am to 5pm at the IRS ECC office in Memphis, TN. Responsibilities

Design logical network architecture and review network topologies Implement network virtualization technologies including VLANs and VRFs Configure and optimize routing protocols (OSPF, BGP) for network efficiency Manage IP Address Management (IPAM) and DNS/DHCP configuration Implement network security policies and ensure compliance with IRS security protocols Develop and maintain network documentation and diagrams Qualifications

Required: Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Cisco Certified Architect (CCA) at minimum AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect certifications are a plus Minimum of five years of experience in network architecture, design, and implementation Proven expertise in managing and deploying systems across public, private, and hybrid environments Strong understanding of virtualization technologies and containers (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible Experience with network architecture, cost optimization, and high availability architectures FWI is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability/vets.
