Base pay range $35.00/hr - $47.00/hr Responsibilities Developing test plans, strategies, and test cases for APIs Reviewing and approving test designs and approaches Conducting test execution and applying expertise in Jira defect management Identifying and addressing testing issues and risks Investigating and resolving testing issues with minimal guidance Reporting test results and providing test metrics to stakeholders Implementing and maintaining API test automation scripts Analyzing logs using Splunk during the test process to identify patterns and errors for troubleshooting Monitoring services in production using Splunk Developing tools using Python or shell scripting to support test execution and analysis, if required Developing test plans, strategies, scenarios, and cases Conducting test execution with Jira defect management Requirements 5+ years of experience in manual API testing Knowledge of Microservices architecture Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman and CURL) Basic knowledge of Kubernetes, AWS, GitLab, and Splunk Keeping up to date with industry best practices and technologies in testing Experience in API performance testing is a value add Willingness to learn and flexible attitude Exposure to Python and Shell Scripting to develop testing tools is a value add Knowledge about sequence diagrams Strong problem-solving skills; detail oriented and thorough in testing Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality Experience with documentation to convey results or analyses Value Add Experience in test automation Exposure to Python and Shell scripting for testing tools development Experience in test data management and maintaining test environments Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles for better test case design Ability to implement and maintain test automation frameworks for scalable testing We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees.
