Responsibilities: Design and develop hardware test boards for characterizing and testing high-speed electro-optical devices.
Develop test platforms for both R&D and manufacturing purposes.
Conduct laboratory testing and characterization of electro-optical devices.
Contribute to the design and development of System-on-Chip optical engines for telecom, data center, and networking applications.
Demonstrate a willingness to learn and expand existing skillsets.
Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in electrical engineering or a related field, 2 years of related experience
RF and electronic board design skills including schematic capture and PCB layout
DC level analog design and debugging skills
Laboratory experience with high speed RF measurement equipment
Experience building and debugging complicated test systems
Ability to independently interface with vendors and other third parties
Nice to Have: Graduate degree in electrical engineering, or related field, or 3+ years of relevant work experience. Prior experience with optical modules and/or high speed electronics.
Experience developing software in Python, MATLAB, or C++ , Lab experience working with optical components and instruments
Theoretical understanding of coherent optical communication systems
