Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This role will support the HR team, collaborate with the HR Manager, and work closely with site leadership to create and execute business-driven HR strategies. You will help drive the strategic direction of the HR department, lead HR programs and initiatives, and contribute to fostering a high-performance, sustainable organization capable of achieving business objectives and action plans.
This role will involve assisting with all aspects of the HR department onsite, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations, and driving HR projects with a focus on data analysis and reporting. You will utilize your analytical expertise in Excel and Power BI to track, report, and analyze key HR metrics. Additionally, you will contribute to training, presentations, and strategic HR initiatives in collaboration with the HR Manager and HR team.
The compensation range for this full-time position includes base pay and target sales performance incentive, with a target total compensation range of $100,000 - $120,000. Base salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Responsibilities Assist with the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives
Engage in proactive positive employee relations strategies and initiatives; drive activities to promote engagement with employees at all levels
Support plant operations through planning headcount, staffing levels, and recruitment
Work closely with site leaders and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
Assist with HR metrics, responsible for tracking, reporting, and analyzing data; ensure accurate people data via regular auditing of relevant HRIS systems
Strengthen employee retention and engagement through establishing and coordinating the standard onboarding and orientation processes with integrated efforts from various functions
Implement talent management programs to identify and develop high-potential employees
Provide guidance and support to managers on employee relations issues
Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR supporting a manufacturing operation required; new facility start-up experience preferred
Bilingual in Spanish
Expertise in Excel and Power BI for analyzing HR data, generating reports, and presenting insights
In-depth knowledge of recruiting practices, talent management, performance management, and employee relations
Experience with HRIS systems such as SAP, Workday, Oracle, Paycom or UKG
Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing HR issues
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
