Accounting Manager — Greater Hartford, CT Area
Base pay range: $85,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr. Salary: $95,000 – $110,000 + Comprehensive Benefits.

What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage the month-end and year-end close process for multiple entities.
- Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting functions.
- Supervise and develop the accounting support team, fostering growth and accountability.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for leadership and the Board of Directors.
- Coordinate audits and ensure compliance with GAAP, state, and federal regulations.
- Partner with billing and payroll departments to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Director of Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and process improvement initiatives.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience; nonprofit experience preferred.
- Proven experience supervising or mentoring accounting staff.
